Your website is your only employee that works 24/7

A lot of small brands *massively* overlook their website – usually because they’re not confident with the technical side of things or they just don’t have the time to properly manage it.

But the reality is, your website is where buying decisions are made.

You can do everything right on social media and ads to bring people in, but if they land on a website that isn’t optimised to convert... you’re effectively pouring water into a leaky bucket.

The reality is, a HUGE amount of money gets left on the table simply because the basics aren’t being done properly.

Small, simple improvements in layout, clarity, structure, and user experience can be the difference between someone bouncing or someone buying.

When someone lands on your site, they’re doing the exact same thing as in-store shopping – quickly scanning and asking:

🤔 Is this clear?
🤔 Does this store look trustworthy?
🤔 Do I understand what I’m buying?
🤔 Is it easy to purchase?

If the answer isn’t an immediate "YES", you’ve already lost them. And unlike in a physical store, there’s no one there to ask questions or get reassurance from in real time – so your website has to do *alllll* of that work for you.

This is why your website and your marketing need to work hand in hand. Ads and social media bring the attention, but your website is what actually converts it into revenue. If that final step isn’t working properly, everything before it is wasted effort.

When it’s set up properly, your website quietly turns traffic into consistent sales in the background of your business.

I NEED TO SORT OUT MY WEBSITE 🙋‍♀️

The 3 key pages every website should focus on

Rather than getting caught up in complicated navigation structures or trying to map out every possible user journey in detail, the focus should be much simpler:

Knock the basics out of the park first. 🏏

In reality, around 80% of your results will come from a small number of key pages on your website.

If we properly set up and optimise just a few core page templates, they end up doing most of the heavy lifting for you – guiding customers, answering questions, and driving conversions (without you having to overthink things).

1. Home Page

This is your shop’s storefront – the very first impression people get of your brand.

It should be visually interesting, instantly inviting, and give people a clear reason to stick around and explore further.

A strong homepage doesn’t try to say *everything* at once. Instead, it gives a clear flavour of who you are, what you offer, and what sets you apart.

Think of it as your “hook”. if it does its job properly, people don’t just land and leave… they start clicking in and exploring more.

2. Collection Page

This is where people start to browse and narrow things down, so it needs to feel clear, simple, and easy to navigate.

Collection pages should do the filtering work for the customer – helping them quickly understand what’s available without feeling overwhelmed.

This is often where buying decisions start to form, so clarity is key. If someone can easily compare options and find what they're looking for, they’re far more likely to move forward.

3. Product Page

This is where the final buying decision is made, so it needs to do a lot of heavy lifting. It should overcome objections, answer key questions, and clearly highlight why someone should buy *now* rather than later.

A strong product page removes uncertainty. It gives people everything they need to feel confident – from what the product is, to why it’s worth it, to what makes it different.

If this page isn’t doing its job properly, you’ll lose sales you’ve already worked hard to bring in.

I can take website management off your hands completely

If you don’t feel confident with your website, or you’re not even sure where to begin, that’s exactly where I can help.

I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses of all sizes and niches to optimise their Shopify stores. I genuinely love taking this stress off small business owners’ plates and getting into the nitty gritty detail of what *actually* improves performance.

My experience has given me a strong understanding of how to create stores that don’t just look beautiful, but are built with real strategy behind them. I know what customers expect to see, and the key design and structural elements that should be considered across every page template. 🧐

The goal is always the same – to make your website feel clear, intentional, and built to convert, while you focus on running the rest of your business.

It’s also a super affordable way to get ongoing Shopify expertise without the cost of hiring in-house or going through an agency.

How it works

Here’s the simple process we’ll go through to get your Shopify store set up and optimised:

1️⃣ We’ll have a quick call to go through your brand, your website, and what you’re looking to improve, and make sure we’re a good fit

2️⃣ Once we decide to work together, I’ll get access to your Shopify store so I can start working behind the scenes

3️⃣ I’ll start by reviewing your current site (or building from scratch if needed), looking at what’s working and what needs improving

4️⃣ I’ll spend time redesigning and optimising your key pages, focusing on structure, clarity, UX, and conversion best practice – fully tailored to your brand

5️⃣ We’ll review everything together so you’re happy with how it looks and feels

6️⃣ I’ll make any final tweaks and get everything live 🚀

Once the initial setup is complete, I can also support you on an ongoing basis to manage your store, from seasonal updates through to ongoing improvements and optimisation.

FAQs

Do I need to be on Shopify?

Yes – I only work with Shopify stores. If you’re looking to migrate over to Shopify, let me know and we can discuss that as part of the project.

Is this suitable if my website is already “okay”?

Yes, yes, and yes! Most stores I work with are already functional, but not fully optimised. This is about improving performance, clarity, and conversion, not just fixing broken sites.

Can you work alongside my other marketing (ads/email/social)?

Yes – in fact, your website should be working alongside everything else. The goal is to make sure all your traffic sources actually convert properly once people land on your site.

Will a website refresh affect my live site or sales?

No – any changes are made carefully behind the scenes, so your live store continues to run as normal until everything is ready to switch over and go live.

Will you be doing all of the work?

I take a fully hands-on approach and can handle everything from page design and structure through to updates and optimisation. If you prefer a more collaborative approach, we can absolutely tailor it to that as well.

What is your expertise with Shopify?

I’ve worked with a wide range of brands on Shopify, from smaller growing businesses through to multi-million pound turnover stores. My experience combines hands-on implementation with a strong understanding of what *actually* drives conversion on ecommerce sites.

I also have a post-graduate degree in Creative Writing from Oxford University. 🤓 So I’m very focused on copy that not only sounds good, but is strategically written to engage, persuade, and convert.

How much does it cost and how do you take payment?

Pricing depends on the package you choose (Website Refresh or ongoing Website Management).

A one-off Website Refresh starts from £1,500, with final pricing depending on the size and scope of your store – we’ll go through everything on a call and I’ll give you a tailored quote for your specific needs.

Ongoing Website Management is a 2-day per month retainer at £500/month.

Payment is taken once the project is complete and signed off, or monthly if you’re on a retainer.

When can we get started?

It depends on my availability, but typically we can get started within a couple of weeks once everything is in place and access to your store is granted.
